Meet Heather

Welcome, and thank you for visiting my website. I’m so glad you’re here.

I’d love to share a little about myself and how I found my passion for helping others.

I was born in raised in Lancaster County. I am a wife of 27 years, a mother to 3 children, whom I am beyond words proud of and a canine kid who I adore. My hobbies when I am not working, include cooking, gardening and planting, reading, and exercising

My journey with helping others began in a nursing home caring for Level II patients. From there, I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and worked for both a Crisis Helpline and an Educational Helpline for the State of Pennsylvania, helping families and educators navigate the public education system. During that time, I also earned my Master’s Degree in Counseling.

My work is rooted in connection, encouragement, empowerment, and practical growth. For the past 30 years, I have worked in schools, outpatient mental health practices, and other counseling settings. It has been a true privilege to work with so many beautiful people from all walks of life.

What I love most is helping people see strengths within themselves that they may not recognize. Many people come in feeling overwhelmed, worried, stuck, or uncertain. My goal is to help you gain clarity, perspective, confidence, and hope. Sometimes, having someone believe in you helps you begin to believe in yourself.

My ultimate goal is to help you feel empowered, find your voice, and move forward with greater confidence and purpose. Watching people grow stronger and create positive change in their lives has brought me great joy throughout my career.

I truly believe we can overcome obstacles, push through adversity, and create meaningful change. The past is part of our story, but it is not the whole story. We get to decide what comes next.

I would be honored to help you write your next chapter and create the life you want to live.

What to Expect

At Living Well–Living Better, coaching is not about judgment, perfection, or pretending life is easy. It is about connection, growth, accountability, healing, and learning practical ways to live more fully and intentionally every single day.

When we work together, you can expect a safe, supportive, and collaborative environment where you are encouraged to grow at your own pace while being empowered to move forward confidently.

Together, we will:

“The healing key with trauma is connection, not disconnection. Those who have experienced trauma, tend to run away, numb and protect themselves from connecting to themselves and/or others with regard to what they experienced. It is essential that I provide the environment for people to move toward the feelings that make them uncomfortable. Moving toward the story you wish to bury and delete helps you to reflect, learn, grow and heal."

  • Identify what is holding you back and uncover what you truly want for your life
  • Recognize patterns of thinking and behaviors that are helping or hurting your growth
  • Learn practical tools to improve your emotional wellness, mindset, relationships, and daily life
  • Build healthier habits rooted in forgiveness, acceptance, gratitude, and self-awareness
  • Restore balance, clarity, confidence, and renewed purpose
  • Foster self-love, resilience, and positivity through self-compassion

I believe healing is not about disconnecting from difficult experiences, but learning how to move through them with support, understanding, and the right tools.

Some of the greatest truths I have learned are this:

We are an all-inclusive coaching space that welcomes and supports LGBTQ+ individuals. Every person is valued here as they are, and we are committed to creating a respectful, affirming environment where you can feel safe, seen, and supported in your personal growth.

As we walk through this journey together, my hope is that you leave feeling stronger, empowered, emotionally healthier, and excited about your life again.

Because this life is not just something we survive — it is something we learn to grow through together.

"The Wisdom that shut everything down for you and suppressed and protected you is now the very same wisdom to open up your feelings to give you the opportunity to feel what you need to feel, knowing you have the tools to do so. This all comes from your own body. It is doing exactly what it needs to do and you can trust that. “

“The greatest love affair you will want to have in this lifetime is the one you have with yourself”

"We are all growing up in this life together. There is not one person who has mastered maturity and full development, because we are constantly growing and evolving as a person and as a population of people. This is exciting because we have so much to do and to learn and to experience. "
